| Bilgi :The King is about a consciousless, pedophilic, arsonist, incestuous, and serial murdering young man, named Elvis, by his deceased prostitute mother. He's seemingly alone in the world. The movie begins with his handsome happy face, excited while packing for the last time, as he's being discharged from the navy. He moves to Corpus Christi, purchases old car, obtains a job at a pizza parlor and makes himself known to the man, a pastor, his deceased mother told him was his father. Things spiral from there. The now changed and converted man who used Elvis's mother when his sexual desire demanded before he became a Christian and found religion, doesn't want Elvis in life or in the lives of his family. Elvis respects the man's wishes not to intrude upon him, but lusts for his under-age half sister, Malerie, and involves her unknowingly in an incestuous affair. She becomes pregnant and falls in love with Elvis, not realizing, that he is also her half brother. After his half brother, the son of the pastor and Malerie's brother, confronts Elvis about seeing his sister, Elvis stabs him to death and disposes of the body in a swamp. He confesses to Malerie who, instead of going to the authorities, is so blinded by the religion she's been programmed by and by the manipulation of Elvis, that she decides all he needs to do is confess his sins to God thereby "getting right with God". |
