Çocuklar kısa zamanda konuşan hayvanların, cücelerin, devlerin, santorların ve daha pek çok mitolojik yaratığın yaşadığı, bir zamanlar barışın hakim olduğu ancak kötü kraliçe Beyaz Cadı Jadis tarafından sonsuz bir kışa gömülen gizemli toprakları keşfederler. Narnia'yı sonsuz özgürlüğe götürecek olan iyiliğin kötülüğe karşı savaşında, şimdi herşey bilge ve iyi kalpli Aslan tarafından yol gösterilen çocuklara bağlıdır!
İkinci Dünya Savaşı’nın başlamasıyla Londra’nın artık eskisi kadar güvenli bir yer değildir. Bu sebeple dört çocuk, taşrada güzel bir evi olan Profesör Kirke’ün yanına gönderilir. Bitip tükenmeyen enerjileriyle koca malikanenin altını üstüne getiren dörtlü, bir elbise dolabının içinde gizlenen müthiş bir keşifte bulunurlar: başka bir dünyaya açılan bir büyülü bir geçit...
Onlara bir görev verilir. Hayvanların konuştuğu müthiş tehlikeli ve cazibeli bu dünyanın yaratıcısı ve kralı olan Aslan’ı bulmak ve iç karartıcı bir büyüyle, bu güzel dünyayı bitmez tükenmez bir kışa mahkum eden Cadı’yı yenilgiye uğratmak. Ve kimbilir belki de ölümsüz bir yaşam ve unutulmaz isimlere sahip olma şansı! |
