Bilgi :In David Cronenbergs remake of the 1958 classic, Jeff Goldblum plays Seth Brundle, a young scientist on the verge of creating "TelePods," a machine that teleports a person from one TelePod to another. He is also falling in love with Veronica Quaife (Geena Davis), a reporter helping him with, what they think is, the "story of the year." But the only problem is, the TelePods wont transport matter, and when they do, what happens isnt a pretty sight. After Seth irons all the bugs out of the Pods, he uses the first human test subject: himself. But a common housefly entered the Pod with him, and the machine spliced their DNA together. As Seths strength starts to increase along with his anger, the fly genes inside of him start to awaken and Seth begins an evolution from human to a horrific man/insect creature he calls "BrundleFly." He can still find a cure, but what lengths will he go to cure himself before he turns into BrundleFly completely?Seth Brundle, a brilliant but eccentric scientist attempts to woo investigative journalist Veronica Quaife by offering her a scoop on his latest research in the field of matter transportation, which against all the expectations of the scientific establishment have proved successful. Brundle thinks he has ironed out the last problem when he successfully transports a living creature, but when he attempts to teleport himself a fly enters one of the transmission booths, and Brundle finds he is a changed man. This Science-Gone-Mad film is the source of the quotable quote "Be afraid. Be very afraid."Seth Brundle is a scientist working on teleportation. Just when he thinks hes ironed out the last bug in his system, the intervention of a common house fly turns Seth into a 6 foot insect. The transformation from man to fly is gradual but horrific, and is witnessed by Veronica; a reporter documenting Seths story. Seth has some time to try to find a cure, but is there enough time...?
